The Erasmus+ Youth Exchange project “Teamwork in Action” (Project No: 2025-1-ES02-KA152-YOU-000300857) continued in Madrid, Spain with activities focused on cultural diversity and professional interaction. Coordinated by KUFF Asociación de Solidaridad con Refugiados y Minorías, the project brings together partner organizations from Spain, Türkiye, Latvia, Romania, and Hungary, with We As One representing Latvia.

During the “Cultural Codes in Business” activity, participants explored how cultural values influence workplace behavior, communication styles, decision-making processes, and professional etiquette. Through presentations, discussions, and collaborative exercises, young people compared business practices from their countries and identified both similarities and differences🎉

The session encouraged participants to reflect on how misunderstandings can arise in multicultural teams and how awareness of cultural codes can improve cooperation. By examining real-life workplace examples, they gained practical insights into adapting communication strategies and building respectful professional relationships.

Participants also discussed the role of tolerance, empathy, and flexibility in creating inclusive working environments. The activity highlighted that understanding cultural diversity is not only beneficial for international collaboration but also essential for developing successful and sustainable teams.

As a partner organization, We As One continues to contribute to the project’s mission of promoting intercultural learning, equal participation, and stronger cooperation among young people across Europe🌟
