About We As One 

We As One was established in 2022 with the leadership of Anastasija SOSTARE-ERA who is an active and volunteer young person. The main idea behind our organization is to bring all kinds of people under one roof and create unity regardless of gender, ethnicity, age etc. As “We As One” association, we believe that real community development is possible through uniting, and acting as “one”. We As One association mostly focus on who are in need, and those need help with social inclusion. Based on this idea, our vision and mission are as follows:

We As One organization aims to reach out to young people and change their minds with positive thoughts against differences and diversity. Thanks to youth projects and voluntary activities, our organization continues spreading positive vibes for those who need to be seen among society. 

 

Our Mission

 

We As One organization believes in the power and importance of unity within society and within our world. We believe that most of the conflicts among the world emerge due to intolerance between people from different cultures and ethnicities. Therefore, we would like to eliminate racist and discriminatory behaviors and to fight against xenophobia. As the “We As One” association, we believe that diversity is like a gThrough our activities and voluntary projects, we want to increase the diversity in that garden and plant more flowers for a beautiful future. Related to this idea, our goals are as follows:

 

• To organize voluntary activities for youth to bring them open-minded point of views and to make them understand the beauty in differences,

• To implement Erasmus+ projects in order to have the opportunity to create international impacts thanks to its multicultural atmosphere,

• To reach out to people we refer as “minority” among society, and make them learn and benefit from voluntary activities and to contribute their efforts for social inclusion,

• To create voluntary training programs for refugees and to help them with linguistic matters. Through the programs we plan, we will reach out to refugees and ease their transition to a new society,

• To create awareness for refugees, immigrants, gender inequality, human rights, and rights of minorities among young people since we believe that young people are our present and future,

• To disseminate the idea of “unity” and to contribute to community development through being “one”

 

Even though our organization is a newly established one, we believe that together with our team, we will work hard and achieve our goals thanks to the power of hardwork and faith.
