Mapping Skills for Stronger International Cooperation🤝

The Erasmus+ Youth Exchange project “Teamwork in Action” (Project No: 2025-1-ES02-KA152-YOU-000300857) continued in Madrid, Spain, where participants from Spain, Türkiye, Latvia, Romania, and Hungary took part in activities designed to strengthen their personal and professional competencies. Coordinated by KUFF Asociación de Solidaridad con Refugiados y Minorías, the project is implemented with We As One proudly participating as the Latvian partner organization🌱

The programme featured the "Map Your Skills" activity, encouraging participants to reflect on their strengths, identify areas for improvement, and recognize the competencies they have developed through education, volunteering, and international experiences. By creating personal skill maps and exchanging constructive feedback, participants gained a clearer understanding of their potential and future goals.

Another important part of the programme focused on Intercultural Workplace Design, where participants explored how inclusive workplaces can be created by embracing cultural diversity. Through collaborative discussions and practical exercises, they examined different leadership styles, communication methods, and decision-making processes while designing work environments where everyone can contribute equally regardless of their cultural background.

These sessions highlighted the importance of self-awareness alongside intercultural competence. Participants discovered that understanding their own abilities is just as essential as appreciating the perspectives of others when working in multicultural teams. The activities also encouraged them to apply these lessons in their future careers, local communities, and international initiatives.
